Jesus - The former and the latter rain..........! Get ready to be drenched in it........!

Here is another powerful message I heard from God...........While I was worshipping God, I had a revelation to write on the former and latter rain spoken in Joel 2:23. While all of you read of it and be blessed, I would like to give the glory, honor and praise to God alone who gave me this wonderful revelation. It will indeed be a power-filled reading...Put on your seat belts to be safe ;), this could break you free from your bondage and will unleash a great anointing of God on you.

Former rain symbolizes the first coming of Jesus Christ which is related to his birth and his death on the cross which brought redemption for the whole of mankind. Here we see Jesus as our Savior, God of salvation and lover of our soul that made him a ransom for our redemption.

A. Jesus as the former rain in our lives causes the following :

  • Causes our threshing floor to be full of wheat (Joel 2:24) : meaning it will be time of great harvest in our :
    • spiritual life : he will take us into a supernatural level filled with fear of God which is the beginning of all knowledge about him, wisdom and understanding
    • materialistic life : as we have give the first priority in everything, automatically our materialistic life will be blessed wiz health, wealth and happiness in every aspect of our life.

  • Restoration to the years that the swarming, crawling, consuming & chewing locust has eaten (Joel 2: 25): the first point speaks about new blessings, however second point talks about restoration of the former blessings we possessed. Locust symbolizes Satan, and by this we understand that, all that Satan has stolen from us, from your spiritual life as well as materialistic life will be restored multi-fold. I guess this is why men of God say that "When god blesses us, our Barnes will overflow, and there will be no room enough to store it".:)

  • My people shall never be put to shame (Joel 2:26b) : This indicates that he will take away the shame that came because of the sinful lives we were living and will live.

Why does he have to say that "My people shall never be put to shame"...??
I was reasoning out the cause for shame, the one thought that came to mind was that it is sin that                   brings shame. And when we are exposed of our sinful life, we become ashamed of it. And here when               God says "you will never be put to shame", it simply means that he will not expose you or make you feel           shameful about our sinful life, but when we give way for him to become our Savior he convicts us of our           sins and forgives us for the former life of shame and will make a new creation out of us.

B. Jesus as the Latter rain symbolizes the second coming of Jesus Christ. As a latter rain he causes the following

  • I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh (Joel2:28a) : Post Jesus's resurrection he left his holyspirit back on earth before he could ascend into Heaven. Hence this indicates the last days where he will pour out his spirit on all flesh. For us to receive the blessings of Jesus as latter rain, we need to first receive him as the former rain, this in-turn will unleash the pouring out of spirit in an abundant way. Everyone who accepts him will be filled with power of the Holy-ghost.

  • Your sons and daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions (Joel2:28b): When the latter rain comes on us it will cause spirit of prophesy to flow through our sons and daughters and old people in our families will dream dreams. And young people in our families shall see visions. If any of us have not experienced this, its time for us to pray to God asking him to pour out his latter rain on us.

  • And I will show wonders in the heavens and the earth : And finally this will cause our eyes to see wonders, every place we go. Eyes haven't seen, ears haven't heard the things he has prepared for his children. We will see a wondrous hand of God work in our lives, we will see the blind eyes open, the deaf ears hear, the lame walk, the dead rising..........Are you ready to receive it?...I am excited about it........... :)

In conclusion, I pray that God will make his former and latter rain fall on each one of us so that we will be washed by his blood of our sinful life, restored of all the former blessings in manifold in our health, spiritual life & wealth, filled with outpouring of holyspirit, prophesying, dreaming dreams, seeing visions and the wonders of God.

I pray that everyone who reads this will be filled with the power of holyspirit and spread the gospel.

Worship......!!!!

God put in my heart to write on worship, it took me quite sometime to complete this simple message but yet complex one. Finally the holyspirit enabled me to complete it today. I pray that God will touch each one who reads this to worship him more and more.

Few simple words to interpret worship

W hole hearted worship
O rderly lifesytled worship
R essurection power worship
S ubmission worship
H oliness filled worship
I mploding worship
P rayer and praise filled worship

Jacob's whole-hearted Worship - We have heard about Jacob wrestling with God many times, I call this the most powerful worship. When we read about it in Genesis chapter 32, Before Jacob could wrestle with God, he separated himself from all his possessions, family and servants in the night and in his loneliness he encountered a man with whom he wrestled till day break. I call him a worshiper because of the reason that he fought with God through the night and never let him overpower him and never let him go until God blessed him. God changed his name to Israel (meaning victory). True worship is to keep God in the center by separating oneself from everything he/she has, like Jacob did and not let him go until his name is glorified through us. In our loneliness there is a great worship involved...

King David's Imploding worship - 2 Samuel 6 : King David worshiped God in a might way, to the extent that he wore a holy linen vest and danced mightily before the Ark of the covenant. It is not an easy thing for a King to do so, but David did it with all his heart, mind and soul.
As an act of worship he also gave whole burnt offerings to the Lord and also gave food to the men and women of Israel. In this passage we also read about the expression of unhappiness by David's wife Michal because she felt that a King was not suppose to behave so, but the response of David was amazingly so powerful which only a true follower and worshiper of God can say..."I will celebrate in the presence of the Lord and I will lose ever more honor"....How many of us can lose our honor to give God the due praise and worship? David the King did so just to please God and to give him the worship that he deserves

King Jehoshaphat's Prayer & Praise filled Worship - King Jehoshaphat was a God centered King, he ensured that commandments of the Lord were followed by him and all the people around. When the amonnites, moabites & edomites planned to wage a war against Jehoshaphat, he called for the people to fast and pray for God to deliver his people. When he and his people bowed faced down on the ground and worshiped God and cried out, God delivered him from the enemy attack.
Scripture says in 2 Chron 20:20 on-wards that King Jehoshaphat chose men who were singers to praise God while they were in the war, and while they kept praising God, God set ambushes for the people of Edom, Moab & Ammon which led them to kill each other. Such was the power of Worship which was displayed under the rule of King Jehoshaphat.
Giving prime importance to God no matter what position we are in is a kind of worship to God. I admire this Man of God who defeated his enemies by just singing praises to God........One can imagine the power worship has, by reading this part of the Bible

Moses's resurrection power and submission Worship - Moses was a man after God's heart, there is no man who was like that of Moses who was so close to God and who saw him face to face says the scripture.
One of the incident from the Bible which I would relate to his worship is Exodus chapter 17. This passage speaks about the Amalekite attack on Israelites. Moses kept
his hand lifted up high until the sun went down for God to deliver the enemies in Joshua's hands. This is true worship, who can do such an act of lifting hands up until sun sets except for the one who is a true worshiper?
Why do I say that he is a true worshiper? - Because the scripture says that God dwells amidst of our praises, and because God was with Moses always, it means he offered his praises regularly to God, there is no chance for God to dwell in a place without worship and praises, by this I can simply say that Moses was a worshiper, and additionally another thought to it, is that, lifting up hands unto the heavens is an indication of Worship to tell God I look upon and that no one else can help me except you....
This worship is powerful, lifting hands until until the suns goes down? Oh my God, that is why they say that there has been no one like Moses..........Amazing and most powerful man of God

Briefings :
When we see the men of God with the kind of worship they offered to God, the holyspirit revealed a few points on worship that we as God's children need to follow

- Spending more time with God in singing and prayer makes way for us to worship him in a             better way every day & this keeps our relationship intact with God
        - Our Strong worship life can defeat the plan of the enemy against us
- Fasting and praying enables a stronger worship
- Giving generously to the poor and the needy like David is act of worship which we must             follow
        - Deliverance comes through worship and praise (deliverance in mind & heart)...this is                   reason why the scripture says we need to worship God in spirit and in truth, the spirit will           deliver us from every bondage and truth will set our hearts and mind free

To my conclusion, many of us do not give the due praise unto God, we fail to worship him.
Why does this happen? We fail to give the due praise and worship because our priorities have changed to something else. Logically speaking, we worship something only when it becomes important to us, for instance - if I am working, i tend to give importance to work because I get paid for it, and priority becomes my work over anything else..when something becomes a priority it becomes worship.....
We need to start prioritizing God over everything, if Jehoshaphat wouldn't have prioritized God and praised him (& if he would have given importance to his position as a King), he and his people would have been defeated by his enemies.
If Moses would have thought that anyways Israelites dint obey God, let them go through the defeat & dint think through the mind of God, Israel would have been defeated.
If David wouldn't have worshiped God in a mighty way, he wouldn't have been a successful King and would have been killed by King Saul long ago

Let us give our quality time to God, and he will give us victory upon victory & grace upon on grace to go fight every battle and deal with every weakness we possess as human beings........Let our worship be whole-hearted which will get us on track into an orderly
lifestyle that God wants us to be confirmed to...And that will in-turn release a submissive spirit of God leading us to holiness (a holy living) and finally let praise continuously be on our lips which will ensure that our heart, mind and body will be God's permanent dwelling place.

Guard your Roots...!

Introduction :

God put it in my heart to write on "root out or uproot". Meaning of the word root up or uproot is tear out by the roots, weed out, wipe from the face of the earth, dig out, unearth etc. The word simply means a complete clean up so that there is no trace of its existence.

Why am I talking about uprooting & What needs to be Rooted out?

Many of us who have accepted Christ or are in the verge of accepting him need to understand one thing - when we ask for forgiveness of our known and unknown sins to Jesus, it is important for the pertaining roots to be completely destroyed, meaning, there should be no trace of sin in our lives. Traces can be in the form of anything (it could be thoughts, people, objects, place etc.) that keeps us reminded about our sins.
Before we get deep into the uprooting process, lets brush up our knowledge on significance of Roots & then get into my version of its classification.

If we recollect the importance of a Root (which were taught in school), we will be able to relate well. I've put together few key points

    - Roots are important as plants originate from it, and it wouldnt grow without it
    - Roots are important because they secure the plant into the ground
    - Roots help absorb or take in water and minerals/nutrients from the ground/soil
    - Roots store food for the plant
    - Roots prevent soil erosion

Now that we are clear on importance of Roots, lets get deep into how to relate roots in our lives. I would classify Roots into two types based on what the scripture says - (i) Good Roots & (ii) Bad Roots.

    * Good roots being love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance (Gal 5:22-23)
    * Bad Roots being Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings (Gal 5:19-21)

Note : Eventhough the above are described as the fruits of Spirit in the Bible, I have considered it as Roots because of the fact that "Roots are important for any plant, as they originate from it, and it wouldnt grow without a root or even bear fruit without it"

God put it in my heart about uprooting of the bad roots we just talked about. Initially when I started writing on Uprooting, I couldnt understand as to why uprooting was so important. When I got deeper into "importance of a Root", i received a revelation in my heart as to why Uprooting is important for a Believer (New comer or Matured Believer) who has accepted Christ.
I believe that there are bad roots in many of our lives which drives us to sin against God. If those bad roots are let as is,

    - It will hinder the spiritual growth of a believer : Bad roots (we talked about above Gal 5:19-21) remains as is, it hinders the spiritual growth of a believer, meaning we will remain as a toddler who wouldnt be able to grow. Our lives will remain stagnant, not knowing what the will of God is. This inturn will drift us away from God and the purpose for which he has created us.

    - It disconnects our relationship with God : These bad roots disconnects our relationship with God, because the Scripture says that "He is a holy God" and with the bad roots that creates       unholiness in us we can never connect with him nor will be able to maintain a healthy relationship with him.

    - It makes way for Satan to gradually destroy oneself : If these bad roots are not removed it enables free Satan's entry into our lives. He creates a vacuum between God and us. The             scripture clearly says that "Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10)" hence he will lead us into destruction through the bad roots that are there in our lives.

    - Finally it leads to death : When these bad roots become permanent in our lives and are not uprooted, they drive us to sin against God. And the scripture says that "Wages of Sin is death.. (Romans 6:23)".

Now that we know of the bad roots which are there in our lives, the question that would arise in our minds is "What must one do to get rid those bad roots completely..?"

Here are a few points that will help us answer the question we have :

    - Repent & cry out to the lord for forgiveness in your Prayer time : For the scripture says,    When we repent, our sins will be completely wiped out & that refreshing times will come from the  presence of God (Acts 3:19)
    - Let the anointing flow on you : When we let the anointing of the holy spirit flow through us, "it (anointing) breaks every yoke of bondage..(Isaiah 10:27)" in our lives which has caused the  bad roots to remain as is.
    - Pray without ceasing (1 Thes 5:17) : We have to pray without ceasing and continually because it keeps us intact with God and Prayer brings victory over situations which seem             impossible. In simple words, Prayer simply keeps us connected with God. While we are connected, we are always active in the Lord hearkening to his voice.

To my conclusion :

It is essential to remove the bad roots which are still there in our lives. As God's chosen generation we need to examine our lives and see what are those bad roots that needs to be completely obliterated from our lives which makes way for God to become our Author and Finisher of our lives/faith (Heb 12:2).
If some of us who are reading this message feel that

"how can God forgive me and help me in removing these bad roots?"

"I am a hard core sinner, these bad roots can never be removed"

OR some of us may still feel that "No ways, I am a very spiritual person, I dont think I have any bad roots in me"

If you have any of those feelings mentioned above, let me tell you one thing, just do one simple thing, sit in God's presence and simply allow the holy spirit to take complete control of you, this message may not convince you but the spirit of the sovereign lord will fall a fresh on you and take to the realms that we have never imagined off.

Also, another thing I wanted to express was, If God has put it in my heart to write on Uprooting, I am sure there would a few bad roots in me or in my family that needs to be completed extinguished (I am not a Perfectionist). This message has helped me to pray to Jesus to remove those bad roots too. I am hoping that it will help you folks as well.

JESUS "The Balm of Gilead"

Introduction on Balm from Gilead and Reasoning for Why Jesus can be called as a "Balm of Gilead"

Gilead is a region east of Jordan river which was allotted to the tribes of Reuben and Gad. In ancient times, there came an ointment made from the gum of tree in Gilead. Scripture says in Genesis that the Ishmaelite traders who purchased Joseph from his brothers were carrying this balm of Gilead to Egypt. Having said that, I also understood that all parts of the tree (buds, branches, bark etc) were potent for medicinal uses to treat number of disorders such as acute and chronic infection of respiratory tract, cough, wounds, bruises, snake bite, sore throat, sores etc. As Balm of Gilead is either an oil or syrup or a dish known as salve, I am sure it would undergo major processing to become an oil or a syrup. Similarly when I compare it with that of Jesus, for him to become a balm, he was smitten, bruised and beaten for our transgressions and iniquities. And the precious blood he shed on that cross turns out to be the balm for many who are sick physically and needs cleansing on the inside.
And what caught my attention i also found out that it not just healed wounds & bruises, but it had the potential to heal snakebites too (I will get deeper into this particular point in the characteristics). By all this I could connect to Jesus being the Balm of Gilead. Or rather I would say that Jesus was no less than a "Balm". If I can put together a few characteristics of a Balm in comparison/similarities with that of Jesus, below are few thoughts that cropped up in my heart as a revelation :

1. Outer Healing : We just saw a few healing s received when the balm from Gilead is used. By seeing this primary characteristic, we understand that Jesus is a healer of all sicknesses as he died for us  on the cross of Calvary for us to be delivered from all sicknesses. Hence he is called the Balm of Gilead. We see many healing that Jesus performed starting from eyesight being healed to the dead being raised (lazarus). And if any of you are seeking for healing, when you believe that Jesus is the Balm of Gilead you will be healed from the crown of the head to the soles of your feet. Every disease/sickness is but a name, BUT there is this son of God who can heal us no matter how critical the health condition is.

2. Inner Healing : Balm of Gilead also indicates inner healing as he died on the cross of Calvary for the sake of our transgressions and iniquities. As per my findings in the internet, I also understood that Balm of Gilead is used to heal snakebites too. In here, snakebite can be compared to that of sin that became a part of man after a Snake deceived Eve in the Garden of Eden. By this I am also able to relate that Jesus can even purge our sins. This balm of Gilead also indicates salvation through forgiveness of sin. Having said that if any of you feel that there is no one for you, and that the sins in your life can never be forgiven or forgotten or has over taken you - Do not worry this BALM OF GILEAD can bring about a healing in your heart and mind and can forgive your sins once you accept him as your personal savior. Remove the alphabet "I" in SIN and replace it with the "O" and allow the SON (JESUS) to take charge over your inner being. I promise you this act of yours will unleash everlasting peace within you. And you will be a new creation in Christ. Old will be gone, and new thing will sprout up in you.

3. Additional characteristic that I felt was "Even-though people had to pay to get the actual Balm of Gilead, the Balm that Jesus gives you is free of cost". You dont need to be a rich person or a poor person to take this balm. You dont have to belong to a priestly family to avail this Balm. You dont have to be a beautiful or a handsome person to receive it. You neither will have to be a ugly person too. This is free of cost to every human being who God has created in his own image. This is free to every person who knows that he/she is fearfully and wonderfully made.

In my conclusion :
I finally understood that

For the first timers in Christ, I dint want to complicate this topic of "Balm of Gilead". Its simple, Jesus is the Balm from Gilead. He is the source of all healing. He is the one who can set us free from all our iniquities and fornication when we receive him as our Savior.

For the some of us who feel we have grown spiritually & are holy people, I would still say that we need this Balm of Gilead, as we do lack in many areas (like me). We the ones who are spiritually growing people feel that we are correct in everything we do. But I am sorry to say that no man is perfect. We do need this Balm to heal us on the inside and change the inner being to yield to what God has to say is right for us. We are the ones who need the most touch from God as we need to see if the lifestyle we live is pleasing to God, rather than pleasing people. Let God do what he wants to do in our lives rather than we telling him what is best for us.

For the backsliders, Its is essential for you folks to roll back to the Lord. And the Balm of Gilead is what you need. Healing in those areas where you are hurt which has caused you to drift away from God. Or may be someone who was very close to you is no more around you and your blaming God for it, but now your feeling guilty to come back to him. This is a time to ask for forgiveness. He is still the same yesterday today and forever. He will never change from everlasting to everlasting he is the same. Remember the prodigal son and come back to the Lord. He desires that no one should perish.

Barrenness.....!!!!

Introduction:

On 28th of May this year, the Lord put it my heart to write on barrenness. Since then I’ve been wanting to write and started meditating on the word. While I was in the process of reading through the Scripture and related articles, one chapter that struck me the most was Isaiah 54. The Bible says in Isaiah 54 “Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing - Isaiah 54:1 (KJV)”.       I don’t think any woman who is barren would even get a thought to sing. That’s what triggered a question in my mind which said – Why would the Bible say so?
And while I was pondering over that question, the Holy Spirit helped me understand what it means to sing in barrenness, to cry aloud, to enlarge the tent, to lengthen the cords and strengthen the stakes.
To start with, lets define barrenness

Definition of Barrenness:

The dictionary defines the word as:
  •      Incapable of producing offspring, seed, or fruit; sterile a barren tree
  •      An uninhabited wilderness that is worthless for cultivation
  •      Unproductive

Lets get into what the Holy spirit taught me on Isaiah 54. I would call this section with a title
“Way the way out of Barrenness” – (Ref: Isaiah 54 & Gal 4:27)

  • Break forth into Singing (54:1a):

The Bible says that God’s people sang when God delivered them from the clutches of the enemy & gave them victory, for instance, Moses and his people sang to the Lord in Exodus 15 when God almighty gave them triumph over Pharaoh and his horse riders. King Jehoshaphat appoints singers to praise the Lord in 2 Chronicles 20th chapter so that ammonites and Moabites would be defeated. King Hezekiah and his priests sang praise unto the Lord in 2 Chronicles chapter 29 for sanctification of the house of the Lord. King David Praised the Lord through Psalms as God delivered him as well from his enemies.
Most of these men of God did not crib but rather they praised God in all circumstances. Be it before the toughest situation or after it, they ensured that they offered their praises to God and sang without ceasing. When we break forth in singing, God comes down amidst of us and takes complete control over our situation. And when we give him the control, he will work in ways that we cannot even imagine. Just know that its going to be a supernatural miracle which is beyond human thoughts and imagination. That is why the Bible says “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has ever conceived the things that God has for those who love him”
Be it childlessness or barrenness in spiritual life where one feels parched, just commit you self and reach out to God even as your read this message. He will surely make you a fertile land by watering it with his loving kindness and tender mercies. I am sure even as you read this message you will be healed and God will intervene and unleash the impossible.

  •  Cry Aloud (54:1b):

The Bible says that God can never shut his ears towards his people when we cry out bitterly. In Exodus chapter 2, when the Israelites cried out for deliverance, God was forced to hear the complaints and had to set them free from the bondage's. In 1 Sam 7th chapter, Prophet Samuel and his people cried unto the Lord that God will save them from the Philistines. In Esther 4, Mordecai cried with a loud and bitter cry and rent his cloths for his people (Jews) to be saved from the plan of Haman. Through these instances we see that God cares for his people when we cry out to him, the Bible also says that he stores our tears in a bottle and will never let our enemies oppress us. In our barrenness when we cry out to the Lord, he will answer us, he will shut the mouth of the people who insulted us and kept us aloof. Behold, the door which he has kept open, no man can shut it as it says in the book of revelation.

  •  Enlarge the place of thy tent (54:2a)

Here enlarging the place of tent indicates our prayer life. We need to extent the time of prayer. We need to spend quality time in his presence. Enlarging tents is just a simple prayer and its not a selfish prayer. It is a selfless prayer for someone else to be healed, for someone else to be set free. Abraham was a selfless man, he interceded for Sodom and Gomorrah to be saved from God’s wrath. This is the attitude that God’s is expecting out of us. This aspect plays an important role in moving from being Barrenness to productiveness or growth.

  • Strengthen thy stakes :

Amidst of this travail God instructs us to strengthen ourselves with a firm mind, as the scripture says in Mat 26:41 “The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak”. In this journey we need immense strength to go on, as we will be discouraged by people’s talk and their behavior towards us. Now the question is, “How do I get this strength?” – the answer is “Joy of the Lord is our strength” (Neh 8:10c). If we are joyful in the Lord by claiming his promises and shun the words of the enemy our strength will remain strong in him. When we strengthen ourselves with the Word of God

Examples from the Bible who made it through their barrenness :
  1. Sarah (Genesis 21:6-7 and Hebrews 11:11-12),
  2. Rebekah (Genesis 25:21), Rachel (Genesis 30:22-23),
  3. Manoah's wife (Judges 13:2-3+24),
  4. Hannah (1 Samuel, chapter one),
  5. The Shunammite (2 Kings 4:14-17),
  6. And Elizabeth (Luke, chapter one).

Conclusion :

The bottom-line of this message is “God can change anything”, even the storm of the sea had to obey him. If a mere storm can hearken unto his voice, why not we? Lets believe in the words of  him that died on the Cross of Calvary for the sake of us.
To conclude, I always utter the below verse to myself when I think of how great Jesus has been in my life. For a King of Kings like him, there was no need to lay down his life. But he did. That’s what amazes me whenever I think of him.
“WHAT AM I THAT THOU ART MINDFUL OF ME”

Book of Hebrews Part 1 - Pleasing God

Pleasing God at all times

Introduction:

Meaning of the word "please" - to do what a person wants or to give pleasure satisfaction to...
We are living in world where people can go to any extent to get what they want. We try and please people to get a good name, we try to please our boss to get a good reputation, we try to please our parents to make them happy, BUT have we ever thought of pleasing our Lord Jesus Christ?
Many of us might wonder -
------> Why do we have to please God?
------> How do we have to please God?
And I do have this question in mind as to who can please God?

To answer the questions posed above:

Why do we have to please God?

A simple answer for this question would be, if we can please people for materialistic things, Why not please God?
Also in my opinion, we have to please God just to make it known that he is the reason that you can do what you're doing
- Pleasing people would fetch you a temporary breakthrough, however pleasing God would fetch you eternal breakthrough. Try it and you will understand the difference....
- Pleasing people leads to discouragement since people might end up to be manipulators, however when we please god be sure of perfect peace within your walls and hand of God unleashed on your life

How can we please God?

Key attributes which will please God
- The most important and primary attribute is to have in Faith in God. Rom 8:8 - Without Faith it is impossible to please God
- Love one another (1 Thes 4:9 & Heb 11:1) : Always be a good Samaritan and glorify God with the right motives, always do good deeds without ever expecting nothing back in return from them. This will eye pleasing for God
- Be Holy (1 Thes 4:7) - We must lead a holy life. And we must abstain from fornication and overcome the lust for money. We must be sanctified by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, without sanctification we cannot please God. Our sins must be washed by the blood of the lamb.
Examples from Bible about people who pleased God (Heb 11):
                - Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, it was pleasing to God
                - Enoch was translated that he should not see death since he pleased God
                - Abraham pleased God and was known as the friend of God
                - Noah pleased God by obeying to his word to build an ark

Who cannot please God?

Heb 11:6 - Without Faith it is impossible to please God: People who do not believe in the Lord Jesus Christ cannot please him.
Rom 8:8 - People who are in flesh and with carnal mind: People who believe him, but still heed to the voice of the Satan and walk in flesh cannot please God.
Rom 12:2 - People who are confirmed to the pattern of the world: People who abide by the pattern of the world by doing evil things which are not acceptable and perfect in the sight of God cannot please God.
Eph 5:17 - Unwise people: foolish people who cannot understand the significance of God and his will cannot please him.
Col 1:10 - Who are not fruitful in the good work and who do not possess the knowledge of God cannot please him
Heb 13:16 - People who don’t do good to others cannot please God
1 Jn 3:22 - People who do not keep his commandments cannot please God

Conclusion
To conclude, Pleasing god is the most important aspect in Christian life. Unless we please God we cannot have fellowship with him. I have experienced this in my life. Having faith in people and pleasing them has always made way for disappointments. Ive wondered why people turn against me despite pleasing them in every aspect, but Ive seen this one God Jesus, who has embraced me with his unconditional love and has never disappointed me. I would never say that Ive not had problems coz I tried pleasing God. But I would say one thing God gives us the power and wisdom to overcome every situation by having faith in him. What I am today is because of him who died on the cross of calvary. I owe him my life, why shouldnt I please him?
